Product description

RBfracture™ detects fractures in X-rays across the entire appendicular skeleton, including the hip, pelvis, femur, knee, crus, hand, wrist, fingers, elbow, humerus, foot, ankle, toes, forearm, shoulder, as well as the ribs and thoracic and lumbar spine. It also detects dislocations in major joints such as the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and fingers, pelvis and hips, knee, ankle, and foot and toes. In addition, RBfracture supports the identification of fracture-related findings, including joint effusions in the elbow and knee, and lipohemarthrosis in the knee.

The findings are summarized in a visual report, attached to the original x-ray image and saved automatically in the PACS system.

Intended use

RBfracture™ RBfracture is a computer-assisted detection and diagnosis software device to assist healthcare professionals in reviewing trauma skeletal radiographs.

The expected clinical benefit of RBfracture is to reduce the number of missed fractures impacting the health of individuals.

RBfracture should not be used in-lieu of full patient evaluation or solely relied upon to make or confirm a diagnosis.

RBfracture is to be used by trained healthcare professionals including, but not limited to, emergency care doctors, and specialty care doctors (e.g., orthopedic surgeons, traumatologists), as well as radiologists and reporting radiographers.
