Detect more caries with Logicon Caries Detector Software version 5.2—the solution clinically proven to help dentists find up to 20% more interproximal caries on permanent teeth than traditional methods. As the only commercially available FDA-approved computer-aided radiographic caries diagnosis software, Logicon works exclusively with our RVG intraoral  sensors to help dentists visually analyze radiographs and diagnose caries on proximal surfaces.


Detect and Monitor Caries

Latest software improvements further enhance the detection process. With a few clicks, Logicon Caries Detector PreScan applies the algorithm on all eligible inter-proximal surfaces within a radiograph to generate a view of existing caries, helping the dentist verify manual findings by focusing on surfaces that require further investigation.

Locate and classify potential proximal caries with a few clicks.

Save and display selected results for multiple high risk surfaces on a single radiograph.

Present more accurate information by indicating penetration depth of caries.

Receive reliable probability information on whether or not proximal caries are present.

Track classification and probability changes over a period of time.

Latest Software Improvements

Doctor’s Diagnosis allows the clinician to manually examine multiple potential carious sites/surfaces on a single radiographic image.

When in manual mode, the dentist can use Logicon Caries Detector on both bitewings and PA radiographic images.

With a few clicks, Logicon Caries Detector PreScan scans the radiographic bitewing image and applies the algorithm on all eligible inter-proximal surfaces to generate a view of potential caries, alerting the dentist   to surfaces that need further investigation. Logicon Caries Detector PreScan generates a complete index of results for each surface (# correlates to surface).
