Anatomy Without Cadavers-VR Digital Twin Enters the High School Classroom
Anatomy education using digital cadavers draws strong interest from health and nursing teachers inGyeongnam Province

Milseong Jeil High School, located in Miryang, Gyeongsangnam-do, hosted a teacher training session on June27 titled "Enhancing Expertise in Health Sciences Education" During the event, the school showcased howMEDlP Box is being actively used in its health science curriculum. Teachers from local schools includingGyeongnam Nursing High School, Gimhae Hanil Girls' High School, and Changnyeong Girls' High Schoolparticipated and expressed keen interest in the hands-on instructional approach made possible by the VR-baseddigital anatomy tool.
Since adopting MEDlP Box in 2023, Milseong Jeil High School has integrated it into its health and nursingcourses to complement theoretical learning with immersive, practice-oriented sessions. As a vocational highschool offering specialized tracks in Smart IT, Beauty Care, and Health & Nursing, the institution aims tocultivate job-ready talent by incorporating Fourth industrial Revolution technologies directly into classroominstruction.
The school's lead health science teacher introduced the MEDlP Box-based teaching method during thesession. Teachers in attendance experienced firsthand how students could dissect the human body in full 360degree VR, noting the tool's potential to engage learners and convey complex anatomical concepts in a moreintuitive and vivid manner.
A representative from Milseong Jeil High School commented, "We are honored to have opportunity to bringtogether health science teachers from across the province and to demonstrate lessons using our advancedequipment, adding, "We will continue striving to support students' career exploration through innovativetechnology-based tools."
